Pastor Brooke Phelps began her ministry at First Lutheran on June 1, 2017. She graduated from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN with a Master of Divinity degree with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Family Ministry. Brooke was ordained and installed at First Lutheran on May 12, 2017. Pastor Brooke is from Delphos, Ohio.  Her bachelor’s degree is from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.

Brooke has a Shih-Tzu Samoset “Sammi”. Sammi has been a part of Pastor Brooke’s life since right after starting seminary giving her some ministry experience as well. Brooke is an avid Baltimore Orioles fan and enjoys watching baseball.  Brooke enjoys spending time outside, golfing,

reading, crafting, and playing

games.

Brooke is married to Brady Phelps.

They were united in marriage on

May 30,2020 at First Lutheran. Upon

marriage Pastor Brooke was blessed

with a bonus son. 

They added Sarge a toy poodle

mix to their family in August 2021.

Brooke and Brady welcomed a 

second son in March of 2022.

They enjoy going to lake to fish

and enjoy some time to relax.
