We are all welcomed into this community to serve God and to love one another. As we live into our baptismal callings and promises we live into God's mission for the world. "Jesus answered,'The first is, 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one; you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' The second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." Mark 12:29-31

As a community may we join together in loving our neighbors as ourselves. We at First Lutheran love to serve and will continue to serve those outside of our church family for as long as we can through the support of one another. May we all be blessed with the gifts we are given and the ability to continue to serve God through the sharing of love and other things.
