CHILDREN...

Drawing pictures of bibles stories for bulletin covers.  Painting rocks and pots and carpets and walls and everything and anything else.  Singing and doing crazy actions to the hippopotamus song.  Dressing up in costume and acting out the Christmas story.  Waterslides.  Baking communion bread.  Blowing toilet paper with leaf blowers.  Children play an important part of the life of First Lutheran Church.  Children are encouraged to participate and use their gifts in the life of the church.  During the school year Sunday School is offerered most Sundays at 10:15am (following worship).  In the summer, there is Vacation Bible School.  Jesus once said “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs."
